Endangered Siberian Tiger

The endangered siberian tiger is threatened by farms as farm extension causes habitat loss. Nowadays, these animals are on the verge of extinction as they were hunted and killed for different purposes. In China, for instance, these animals were killed because Traditional Chinese Medicine required parts of the species as elements of composing the drugs. There are less than 200 species left in the wild, and around 250 captive animals are kept in zoos. After World War II, they almost disappeared from the wild, but the Soviet government took measures to restore their population. Today, these animals are suffering a massive devastation from poaching and illegal trade. The endangered siberian tiger is threatened by farms as farm extension causes habitat loss.
